Five-Day Skill Training Program on Productions of Organic Inputs

Zaheerabad, Telangana – A five-day training program on organic manure production was successfully conducted for rural youth at the DDS Krishi Vigyan Kendra. During the program, Senior Scientist and Head, Dr. Vara Prasad, explained the agribusiness opportunities in rural areas. He elaborated on how agriculture can be made profitable with minimal investment, emphasizing that KVK scientists will assist in this endeavor.

Agronomy Scientist, Mr. Ramesh, explained how to prepare various organic manures like Panchagavya, Ghanajeevamrutham, Dravajeevamrutham, and different types of Kashayams, along with their benefits. The five-day training program saw the participation of 36 rural youth and women from various mandals, along with scientists Mrs. Shailaja, Mrs. Hemalatha, Dr. Sai Priyanka, Dr. Kailash, and Mr. Srikanth.
