New Poultry Hatchery Unit Facility at KVK: Enhancing Opportunities for SC Farmers

We have established a poultry incubator facility at our KVK, which became operational on July 31, 2024. This fully automated incubator, with a capacity to handle 200 eggs, will play a crucial role in supporting local farmers, especially those from the Scheduled Caste (SC) community through SCSP (Scheduled Castes Sub Plan) schemes.

The first batch of 50 eggs (Local desi & Rainbow Roasters) began hatching on August 27, 2024. This will facilitates us to enhance poultry farming practices and provide valuable resources to farmers, helping them improve their livelihoods and achieve greater success in their agricultural endeavors.
