Dr. C. Vara Prasad currently serves as the Senior Scientist & Head at DDS- Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sangareddy District, Telangana State, India. With over a decade of experience in research, extension, and teaching in agricultural extension, he has made significant contributions to the field.
Dr. Prasad's professional journey includes tenures at prestigious national institutes such as the ICAR Indian Institute of Rice Research in Hyderabad. He has also contributed to international extension projects, collaborating with institutions like the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), and ICRISAT, teaching at Karunya University, and has provided consultancy services to Australian Indian Council projects.
His work focuses on disseminating agricultural technologies to grassroots-level workers, with a keen interest in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) based knowledge dissemination.
